Another view of the 'Burning Ember', a design by and subject of an art trade I did with him >> [link] Done in Sketchup 3D and Photoshop. Took me some 23/24 hours in total.
The cookers behind the cockpitsection are there to provide symmetrical thrust to the spaceship (in combination with the main engines). They also suggest that the cockpitsection could be used as a shuttlecraft. It is up to the original designer whether this is indeed the case though
Spot on mate, absolutely spot on. I dunno how you managed it but I'm glad you did. The cockpit section is designed to break off as an emergency escape pod so it's cool that you added those wee thrusters. Like the Millenium falcon I wanted her to be cool in an ugly way- gives the craft a personality I think.
Man, I can't believe how good it is, it's like looking around my picture!
Dude, if I ever get my comic off the ground, will I be able to use the model as a 3d reference? I'll be definately adding your name to it if I can.
Anyways, I'm going into a OHMYGODTHATSSOCOOL frenzy so I'll leave it with, well flippin' done.

"...I mean they let that Sarah Jessica Parker on TV- and she looks like a foot."
Excelent!
I'm glad I helped a bit, but it's nothing if you don't have talent and ideas. And btw, it's obvious that you're improving drasticly.
I'm working on something new, but I can't find some free time to finish it: [link]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
